B.Ed degree, with majors in Mathematics and Biology. Currently completing an MSc in Mathematics & Science Education. 

My Story

I've found that most teachers teach in a very methodological and rule-based manner. This often limits the learner's conceptual understanding and disadvantages them. My aim as a tutor is to make learners think more conceptually and thus lead to a greater understanding of the content taught.

I've been tutoring learners from completely different backgrounds and with varied learning styles for over 5 years. This has allowed me to grasp a wide variety of teaching strategies and to continue improving my passion. This experience has proved invaluable and I was made the Head of Department of Maths and Science at Generation Schools and teach middle and high school students there. 

I enjoy working with the youth. I am also heavily involved in youth programmes and I am an executive member at Ahmed Kathrada Foundation at Wits and the Youth Leadership Programmes.
